-- off topic -- Hi SynchrO: sorry to hear about your option foray. I've never bought these in my life. Strictly for the big money people IMO and not the little ones like me (though writing them and LEAPS are different matters - never tried any myself). I'm trying to pare down my portfolio to under 8 stocks - I have 11 now. The only good thing about the October fiasco was that I dumped 9 companies many of which I should never have bought in the first place. Got caught up in the gambler mentality for awhile there and was guilty of chasing after what turned out later on to be the wrong girls! These days I've been kind of quiet (like everyone else in the market it seems) just picking my spots here and there - nibbling. Still think we might get lower prices soon though there may be a s/t bounce soon - stocks have just kind of faded gently to support levels once again - might have a surge of buying if some good news comes up or it might just be a reflex action to the upside.
