I doubt that all of the big banks would fail I think that was fear mongering from the Banksters. Also, we are underwriting them anyway. The difference is that we would get true price discovery quicker, assets would be priced and the country could move on. Will the pols be thrown out of office uh yes, but that is a good thing and is happening anyway. If being able to use your VISA card is the biggest problem that occurs, it would be a small price to pay. Likely worse than that. My point is I think whatever we needed to accomplish could have and should have been done on far less favorable terms to the banks and more favorable terms to the taxpayers than what occurred. lj
