Good Evening Duane: I've been travelling for a couple of days and got home about 9:30 this evening. COLD and WINDY in the Big Sky Country, no golf, just business. My Son is working in Mesa at a golf course and just spent the weekend in Las Vegas. Something is wrong with this picture.

Not trying to hype APAT as I could care less whether someone bought the stock, shorted the stock or just looked at the 800 or so PE and moved on to something else.

July, 1996 APAT filed an 8-K with all of the loan information regarding the position the State of South Dakota and the Aberdeen Economic Development took in putting up approximately $5.5million dollars of the $7.5million costs for construction of the new facility, now completed, under budget, in Aberdeen, South Dakota.

I contacted the Aberdeen Economic Development and asked just what Due Dilligence was completed by both the State and Aberdeen Economic Development before any commitment was made. They do not just give out the cash. The Due Dilligence was extensive.

The folks I visited with who toured the facility two weeks ago were very impressed with the employees, Dr. Jim Pooladdje and the facility.

There are 8million shares outstanding. I think that the figure of a 5million share float may be a bit high. This stock has never traded in huge numbers since I have been involved. I think a lot of that has to do with quite a few people just like myself. I have never traded the stock and continue to add to my position. Right or wrong, that has been the way I have invested in APAT.

The financials are good, as far as I am concerned, considering the costs that APAT have undertaken getting the project off the ground. I did not expect APAT to make any money the past few quarters but I did not figure they would lose as little as they have while undergoing the transformation from R@D to manufacturing. Management has always been fiscally responsible.

Time will tell. If I am right, I'll be in Mesa golfing with kid. If I am wrong, I'll borrow some money from the bank for a new snowblower and put my wife to work in the evenings and weekends.

Hope your over-haul on the computer goes well.

Hit Em Straight.

Jim

P.S. Sure is amazing the information a person can gather by making a few phone calls or visiting the Company. I always figured that was a part of the Due Dilligence.
