Only the most radically doctrinaire atheists would deny that effects MUST have a cause and have the nerve to character that concept as "plucked out of thin air". OTOH: that is a very good description of atheistic ethics.

"In short, the explanatory value of an arbitrary, plucked-out-of-thin-air idea of a designer to “explain” the universe and the complexity of life in it is null, vacuous, empty."

<that biological systems are too complex to have evolved naturally, >

Gefaw!... except that you can OBSERVE it in a pitri dish.

I like this one... HUH!?? It's the mechanistic (stuck in Newton's model) reductionists thast CLAIM (not deny) you need a cause...

Modern physics states that "things happen when conditions are right". There are "preconditions", but using a larger context no one cause.

Where does PopeGreg get this stuf???
