Chris, do market makers have 90 seconds to accept or decline a bid or
offer? If so, how would you take advantage of market makers that are
out of line with the market? All orders have to be entered by a registered rep, correct? So, orders placed "electronically" by your
cyber trading system are still entered by a rep manually on a level3,
which costs time.

Bill

Suretrade is NOT a SOES firm, and I was not making a comparison as such. They are an E*trade type outfit. I was using them as an example of how low commisions are getting. That price is good for markit OR limit up to 5000 shares. A SOES house getting 2C a share wants $100 for a 5000 share trade vs $7.95

I know about selling on the offer via SNET or Island in a SOES room , but I believe the price charged for these services are too high, especially when you are expected to sit and trade in any market, good or bad.

I'll wait out the shakeout.
