I would think that the company would announce the shipment of K6-300 beta to the world. Somthing like:

AMD ships the fastest Micro processor to developers.
Slated to be the fasted work station available. Preliminary production yealds of K-6 exceed estimates....

This would indeed be a big deal.

I would get back in.

Pravin, I've been following betterchips.com for about 6 weeks, not long enough to see any false predictions. However he's not forever making promises that he doesn't keep like Anand and Tom ("review will be up Friday by 7PM for sure, my cat got sick.").

I honestly read him to be truthful and honest and very sincere.

He is however very young and may be speaking out of youthful
exuberance and enthusiasm without the reserve that is born
of years of disappointments.

Hopefully, AMD will not be one of his big negative learning
experiences.
