If you check the numbers on the election, Dems won the moderates by a fairly large margin. They won the vote of people making under $100,000. They lost the vote of those making over $100,000... that's not hard to figure out.

Next election when the young are back at the polls (they traditionally, sadly, don't come out at the midterms in #'s to counteract the old people), things will be fine.

Nancy is not going anywhere, certainly not to be replaced by someone 'non-polarizing' because he agrees with the repubs on about everything - no HCR, no work on climate change and energy independence, no pay equality, maybe a lil infrastructure but no way to pay for it since taxes will not ever ever be raised.

It's always easy to get along if you give up and give in to the far right but having peace and quiet at the expense of taking care of business is not worth it. heck, we could just jettison Obama now because he is very polarizing when it comes to the far right and they will attempt to impeach him. I wouldn't trust Hoyer or Shuler to have his back in the House. I trust Nancy on that.

I feel bad for the old white people who love their SS and Medicare but want it ended for those not already collecting and who wish it was still 1955... but not very bad.

Pelosi needs to be deposed permanently. She and Rahm are extremely polarizing people. There should be no place for such partisan people.

And the same goes for Mitch McConnell and Jim DeMint.>>

The Republicans never depose their leaders unless they face jail like Tom De lay or Jack Abramhoff. Macconnell. Barbour and Boehner are fixtures in the republican party. And all three are bully boy criminals.

You replace Pelosi with some neophyte and the above junk yard dogs will tear them apart.

The Republican's fight as a gang and they fight dirty. You cannot reason with them any more than you could reason with Stalin or Hitler. They do what they want and anyway they can. Negative advertising, lies.

How much more evidence do you need after the last 10 years?

We need a seasoned army to fight them.

You moderates do not seem to understand there is a war going on and all your ideas play right into the hands of the right wing by making us (reality based voters) weaker.

The right wing beat the shit our of us from 2000 to 2008 and then again in 2008 to 2010 even though we controlled congress.

Watch how many attacks they make on Obama and the dems. The right wing is about to release the dogs of hell on the dems and you want to have tea with them.

They are all no nothings.

The same types of people who have caused all the pain and suffering throughout history. Those folks need to be fought against.
