*Why didn't Obnama and the dm congress address that one immediately.* As is always the case, extremism is an outcome of the failure to be informed and analyze the facts on the ground. The gay marriage issue in California was struck down by a judge who is a Republican appointee. The proponent to strike it down was none other than the arch conservative,, former Solicitor General under Bush, Ted Olson. Their reason: it violates the fundamental rights guaranteed by the Constitution and hence is not subject to how someone votes on the issue. Now map that argument to the Supreme Court's decision on the funding of campaigns and the right to free speech and privacy guaranteed by the Constitution. So my question to you: What is there to address and how?
