The feeling I got was one of frustration waiting for the DEC. One story John told was of the DEC calling and asking about them burning plastic. He kept telling them that the process does not burn plastic, but because they have never seen the process they kept asking. And they said they didn't have the budget to actually make a house call to check it out.

I guess that it was Conestoga-Rovers & Associates (“CRA”) that did the stack test and the results were passed along to the DEC via the application. So I guess the DEC has never seen the facility themselves. Sorry, no bleachers.

Everybody is hoping that the DEC is able to move forward faster now that the elections are not getting in the way.

Is that the official word from Mr. Bordynuik? So far there hasn't been any official announcement on how the "near diesel" will be sold or even what additive will be added to make it saleable.

Yes, John told me that directly. I already posted this from an email John sent me on 9/27:

I do not need EPA registration to sell fuel. I do not understand the emphasis to sell fuel for cars in the US. Like everything else, due to our clean fuel and size of our company, it would not be a problem but why spend any time on that now when there is plenty of low hanging fruit ( ie: factories, rail, ships, thousands of farms all of whom consume vast amounts of diesel and other fuels), all of Canada, and any ship that sails by in the Great Lakes. Then, consider international ships, generators, and thousands of factories.

I suspect that if EPA registration of our fuel is critical to some people then maybe they somehow believe we will saturate the world market with diesel so much so that we would have nowhere left to sell it but to vehicles operated exclusively in the United States.
