jbe-- I asked the company the questions that you posted in reply #9 and here is their response. The operating margins are ahead of prior year. Please refer to our 3rd quarter 10Q report (period ended 6/30/97) for more information about operating margins. This is available at: sec.gov Click on "Edgar database" Click on Search Edgar Archives Type in Research Inc. I need clarification on your cash flow question regarding "negative free cash flow". However please be aware that on May 28, 1997 Research Inc. repurchased 237,519 shares of it's stock (approximately 20%) at a price of $6.45 per share. Richard L. Grose Treasurer
