"AND I heard last night on Progressive Radio that if he
allows the tax for the rick bill to be extended he is dead in the water. for 2012 as far as those persons who are considered progressives... "

Absolutely!! I'm willing to give him half a mil before the change, but that's it. I think the minimum wage for an NFL player, very much a working journeyman, is 400+K. I may still become one, eh?

If he had any balls, he'd let them all go away. Either the deficit is the worst thing in the universe and needs to be seriously addressed, or it, as Cheney reminded us, doesn't matter, in which case this is much ado about nothing.

Let the Republicans have it all. They got us into this with
deregulation and excesses like the wars. Let them get us out. Ha little chance.

Ha. Here's my sentiments which are sort of similar to what you're saying. I view Obama as Act 1 in the Great American Debacle. Basically, he wasn't what the country needed and has failed. Now we enter Act 2 with the Rs getting their way. They will likely tax cut us into the abyss. Act 3 will likely be a scramble for sanity and solvency. Hopefully, this great country, rich in resources and basic good will, will then rise like the phoenix and become grand again.
