I would like to see labeling like, "Uncertain National Origin, Use at Your Own Risk", "Contains Varying Amounts of Melamine and Other Industrial Toxins", "Gratuities Were Accepted to Facilitate Import of This Good. Act Accordingly Where Your Health and Safety May be at Risk." and "What Did You Really Expect at These Prices?"

I would also like to see the list of ingredients printed in type large enough to read without a hand lens.

Additional truth in packaging laws should be enacted to include stickers attached on entry with cigarette-package-style warnings like, "Incredibly Shoddy Construction and Engineering. Limited Useful Lifespan Predicted", and "Continued Ingestion of these Food Products May Significantly Harm Human or Animal Health". "The Label of Origin on this Product is Designed to Lull you into a False Sense of Security. This is Really Chinese Crap."

Life is cheap in China. It appears it is even cheaper to Chinese in Nations they export to.

Food imported from China I will pass on, remember the baby formula fiasco, I try as best I can to avoid all products from China, in the past I've bought golf clothes from pro shops that were made in China and after one washing they started to fall apart, that really pissed me off as they charge an arm and a leg in most pro shops. tools, electrical products made in China mostly junk IMO, I've read in the paper about kids toys and jewelry contaminated with harmful substances, they don't seem to care about product safety, just profits. I'd rather pay extra bucks for quality and not buy their cheap crap.

You will see many more products made in China that are simply not available here due to demographics.. but I am not talking about those.. as I like that... I shop maybe 30% at a Chinese supermarket.. fresh veggie selection is great.. and cheap.. and broad.. Between Chinese grocery and Highland farms veggie/fruit purchases elsewhere are rare.. Sure No Frills puts on veggie/fruit stuff sales... but in my experience quality is relatively crap.. I got tired of going back to return stuff and buy no veggies there now... #3 wood be Food Basics... Metro (Dominion) discount store.. decent quality and selection for a discount store..

The meat of he issue though is the Fraser Vale or McCains or Green Giant stuff.. Where does it come from :O)

I know exactly McCains mentality first hand.. it's not about you :O)
