I also think this is anathema to the left. That's a little harsh, and misses the mark, imo. A secular lefty is perfectly capable of establishing within his home a healthy "culture", i.e. an environment that nurtures the marriage and the raising of accomplished, happy children....instill values, etc. I see that all around me. My original statement was very limited to this: If you put all the troublemakers in society into a group, whether young juveniles or older folks who should know better. What you'll find is that rarely are these people who are also active in a full church life. The majority of the time, these are people who don't have a church life. They have a secular life. They come from secular families. This is not the same thing as saying that 'lack of religion makes people do bad things'.
