Street Walker, Without the time to do any true DD on them, here is an initial take on ChatCom, in regards to IT and this news release. A nice concept of integrating a few different services, but seems rather limited in scope. Also, the release is somewhat vague in regards to how this technology works. There is no mention of pricing or capability of the equipment. There is also no mention of the overall strategy on how to bring this to the marketplace. ChatCom also does not seem focused on the Telephony aspect. They may be competition at some point in the future, but so far they seem to be in the very early stages and their vision does not appear to be all that grand. It seems like they wish to become the Video Conference company of the future, not the Telco of the future. They may be a player down the road, but I think FTEL/FNET will be beyond their reach, by the time these guys gear up. Just MHO.
