I assign it a much lower probability.. TJ is certain.. again we have a market.. I do not think it is a forgone conclusion that the US sink that low.. but what I think is going to happen I've posted lots already.. more along the lines of Britain but probably worse because of the 'credit' living.I have discovered that I really do not understand Americans.. I keep viewing them as Canadians... but they ain't.. so I am always willing to change my spots as need be.. Much depends on the craziness of the folks running the US.. if they keep printing Jay is right...

EDIT: as insurance my kids are multi lingual.. :O) I am not smart enough to know for sure.. so I have insurance ...

Y'know Kyros I was thinking more on that..

US corp with global reach are doing pretty good.. but that does not translate into US jobs..

US needs small business and companies that make 'stuff' at home.. Domestic service jobs are not enough.. does zero for trade deficit.. strong dollar/weak dollar.. US needs to make 'stuff'.. Everyone needs to make 'stuff' except maybe some small countries which can find a niche business ...

Until US can compete on the 'stuff' level' the economy will be crap... regardless of the DOW...

US and Canada bail out GM LOL..

Canada should have said fark you GM and Harper could have built our armed icebreakers he promised to maintain our sovereignty adding jobs in 4 eastern areas to balance out the west.. Instead he needs tissues to get the brown stuff off of his nose..

These things ensure our fate... so yes it is relevant to TJ's assertion... I still hold out hope.. but it is fading...
