Al, the WSJ is quoting a "study" by a group funded in part (48% to be precise) by federal and state governments. Of course they're going to count every job that was affected by the bailout as a job "created or saved."

Right...the old "dismiss the carrier" argument...you know better, right, because you are, what? A follower of the industry...an expert on the topic...why pray tell should we take your word on this?

Nevertheless, my WAG is that no more than 200,000 jobs would have been lost.

Maybe you should write a paper on the subject and send it to the WSJ, eh?

You people are deranged...this man could lift atlantis from the bottom of the sea and you'd all say that it was gonna float on its own anyway and he shouldn't have used the navy to help.
