I'm curious where all this union-hate is coming from. Is Fox "News" flogging it? Just 7% of working Americans belong to unions (from a high of around 20%), and that number is declining. I've never belonged to one, or even had the opportunity to join one.

Compared to corporations, unions are really a non-factor in America. But, who ELSE stands for the American worker? Nobody.

RE:Volt....For the last decade when almost zero money was spent on battery technology (batteries increased all of 10% in power in that time) there was little improvement. In the last two years (after billions have been thrown at the problem) gains are in the 100% range and improving at a fast pace.

Because of technology advances the US now has an unlimited supply of cheap natural gas for decades to come...which translates to cheap electricity.

Electric vehicles are far cheaper, easier to build, need far less maintenance and far much more reliable than the internal combustion engines.

The only thing holding them back is battery technology/price.

This is a game changer that everyone should be applauding yet so few are..amazing
