Hi Nikita. What happens to LEAPS when a company is taken over? If you owned the Jan 2000 LEAPS and TI bought CUBE effective sometime in 1998, what happens to the options? Nice to hear the takeover rumor, but kind of anti-climactic given CUBE's potential future. (just read your last post BillyG, well said: "snuff a skyrocket after the fuse is lit"). We are beginning to reap the fruits of CUBE's hard labor, and it will suck if TI gets in here on bargain pricing.

How soon will the buyout happen? I think its possibility would depend on CUBE's price movement in the coming few days. $40 seems to be a fair price base on existing conditions. I am long on it and like to see it happen.

Nikita....I'm gunna add fuel to the fire.

Just talked to "my people" again. They said yep to TXN rumors and $40-42, as you said...

*AND* they also said that INTC may also be interested (a Hagedorn connection?)

PHG was kicked around too...but maybe just for the Divicom portion.

Mr Rocker...How's your PANTS?
