My point was not to exempt Norwegian Bachelor Farmers and little old ladies from screening, but that there is a better way to do this. Profile, Profile, Profile, which our government adamantly refuses to do. Instead it goes through this Kabuki Theater of a screening process giving they illusion they are doing something to keep the traveling public safe. The logical extension of this is going to be random body cavity searches, cause you know it's just a matter of time before some aspiring jihadi decides to arm himself with an explosive rectal probe, much like what Denzell Washington did to the Mexican kidnapper in "Man on Fire."
