ANET has talked about their Voice over IP product roadmap at the AEA with some interesting details; they want to be the first out of the gate for a carrier class voice IP gateway based on sourcecom platform (??) .... has any of the techies looked at ANET's product closely?

hi steve, well put. not many companies out there with this rate of revenue growth trade at book value. product integration is tough and expensive, but it is only a matter of time before this increase in revenue floods the bottom line for ANET.

quote from fortune mag, nov. 24th issue, pg 258 from john chambers of cisco systems

"at least a third or as many as half of our acquisitions next year will be in the area of data voice and video integration...."

to me this spells ANET and FSCX, both innovators with cash on their balance sheet. im not by any means counting on an aquisition but the odds dont look bad. act is a good play either way.

*off subject* to all, check out this month's ind. investor mag and look at ACRT or actrade. these guys really picked a diamond out ot the rough. i think the economics of the 'TAD' business will remind you of early fannie mae. ACRT is discussed on its own thread on SI
