I cant imagine anyone that is working for a living wanting more taxes taken from them. There is me. I can see beyond the incremental change in my next paycheck to a country that is either bankrupt or falling to 3rd world infrastructure status. Generation after generation have payed higher tax rates than we are paying to keep this country first. Now the "I want everything for nothing" generation comes along and allows my beloved country to crumble into disrepair. It's disgustingly selfish and a betrayal of future and past generations.

Ted - I could be wrong, but my guess is that you must be retired and not earning a paycheck from anyone. I cant imagine anyone that is working for a living wanting more taxes taken from them. Now if you dont have skin in the game, then your position makes sense. No, I am not retired and yes, I don't like taxes esp. after paying a huge capital gain on a property I sold recently. Having said that, I am not stupid. I know that small gov't and low taxes are not the hallmarks of a successful democracy. You and your cohort are trying to destroy this country because of your greed. You all are the robber barons in American history. You are nothing more than fast talking con artists. We will fight you until the bitter end. You have won nothing.
