i am in favor of anti-bacterial stacksilver, noble getgold, strategic pileplatinum, and useful-enough packpalladium

china has been encouraging a gold savings habit

and very successfully incubated a platinum preference

china never really had a monetary gold history, as there was never enough gold to go around, and so its role is confined to the top tier of society over past several thousand years

china had, until very recently circa 1968, a monetary silver history, and it would be a fair wager that history shall make reappearance.

so, to pick upsides, i think in descending order, silver, palladium, platinum, and gold.
