I have found SI's Bull/Bear indicator to be one of the most useful indicators for tech stocks. The ratio for the last 24 hours is an incredibly bearish .73, the lowest I have ever seen. The past week average was 1.07, again the lowest, most bearish reading I have seen since I first discovered this little gem of an indicator.

I hate to prognosticate so I won't, BUT, the indicator has never approached these lows without being at a bottom in the market.

But there are (maybe) differences this time. The situation with the SE Asian, Japanese and Brazilian economies, for three.

A nice little bullish note: the bull/bear ratio on the login page here is now down to 137 bulls to 123 bears.

We're now back to 301:200 bulls:bears after actually having more bears than bulls for a short period.
