IDT has had a problem with scattering their resources into many ventures, some of which haven't paid off. They are also fitting the "New American Entrepreneur" mode of spending money in a public company to spin off lucrative side delas for the directors and insiders. The venture capital game in sili valley must be too exciting for these guys to completely remember that their first responsibility is to make their boses (we shareholders) money before they line their own pockets with more green. Having said that, IDT has invested in a lot of key technologies that will, hopefully, pay off for IDT investors. After all, how many stock options can you pilfer from the company or side businesses can you become a director in before you feel some pang of guilt that makes you want to throw some scraps back to the shareholders who made it all posible? Sorry the sarcasm, but this is a valid issue in the American business world. But then the public doesn't seem to mind bending over deep for the politicians, why should we complain when we get shafted by the managers and other insiders of the companies we invest in? Fusion memory hasn't panned out to be the savior that IDT management and investors once thought it would be. However, it could just be that its' time has yet to come. High speed, multibank memory technologies are becoming more important as the digital world increases in speed.
