And we liberals, as usual, will be the voice of reason, even if it means going against our own president. The problem is there are not enough liberals. Only 50 reps out of 230 Dems signed Congressman Welch's letter re. tax cuts for the rich. That means if you want to get anything done, a president like Obama has to compromise. When will you get it? You can go on forever saying how wonderful liberals are but if they get nothing done what's the good of it????

History has proven the liberals were correct to protest the viet Nam war as it was waged on lies. So we ousted LBJ. It seems that you just post on this board without reading what others are saying. That must be typical liberal behavior. They do not listen to the logic of the other side but think they are refuting the other side. Somebody here made the same comment and received a response that the liberals may be exuberant in believing they ousted LBJ. But they were stupid to cut off the branch they were sitting on because after LBJ left the WH, the liberals could not take back the WH for almost 24 years. They just banished themselves to the wilderness. A foolish act isn't it?
