dude, there were actually hippies in 1964 and they are why the Civil Rights Act passed. It was not the black folk taking beatings on the road from Selma. No, it was young middle-class white men who did it. and I do think it matters to realize when Koan talks about liberals just who he is talking about... and this is not "talking about him" as I've adressed him enough times... yes, he is talking about middle-class white men. period. sorry... he is so off the mark on how things came down, and why people of color and women of all colors are sick to death of those "liberals".

If Bobby Kennedy would have lived our efforts would have been realized. JFK asked/told? MLK not to have his March on Washington. He did it anyway and right after that they passed the 64 civil rights act. The entire army told Truman not to integrate the armed forces. He did it anyway. What you seem to fail to understand is the plutocrats are taking over the country and Obama refuses to fight them. These obscene tax cuts for the rich and estate tax cuts were the final straw. The liberals have been holding back and holding back and realized they cannot hold back any longer. If Obama refuses to fight the plutocrats, then the liberals will do it alone and are; and they are now in open rebellion. The takeover of this country is at stake.
