dude, they do laugh. when anything comes up about Alabama being on the lowest end of something, they laugh. but unlike California, we have a large number of blacks. yes, our blacks here are overweight and uneducated by and large... so when a white liberal from California takes delight in Alabama's low rank, they think they are laughing at crackers. they aren't. yes, maybe they do care about blacks... but their hatred of Alabama blinds them so our black Alabamians are tossed aside. you are a kind soul to see it as you do... but I been hearing the laughter a long time now. no, I do not believe that the average white liberal who now 'hates' the 'ball-less' Obama actually gives a daym about my neighbors who are black and overwieght and need an education. and this is why... I have no use for "liberals". they love and live in their lily-white upscale neighborhoods and talk of love for coloreds and love the gays... but when push comes to shuch? they don't get in the streets unless someone is trying to send them to die. thanks, but no thanks. when the Republicans return to fiscal-conservative/social-liberal standing... the hippies will drown in their own bile and not be mentioned except as the men who thought talking a certain way would get them laid more.
