<<Marx's ideas (at least the closest they have ever come to actual expression) made life absolute hell for a huge number of people while ending the life for many others.

It wasn't Marx's ideas that caused the Russian tyranny. It was the dictatorship of Stalin.

And life under the czars wasn't much better. The peasants and serfs were brutalized by the nobility.

You think Russia was run under Stalin as Marx envisaged it?

Same is true with all communist countries. they were run by dictators. the economic system means nothing when the political system is a dictatorship.

Had Russia been a democracy Marx's ideas would have ended up a democratic socialist country like Sweden. More or less-lol.

Cheap Labor Conservatives like high unemployment. It creates desperate people who will work cheap.
Cheap Labor Conservatives hate health care reform. They want people desperate for their now-reduced benefits.
Cheap Labor Conservatives hate the minimum wage. For obvious reasons.
Cheap Labor Conservatives secretly support illegal immigration. Drives down labor costs with more desperate workers competing for jobs.
