It is hard for me to respond without say: "are you kidding"?

A desire for profit is what everyone does every day they work. It is how we make a living. How all animals make a living.

Being greedy is considered a bad thing in civilized societies. And rightfully so.

Greed is: excessive or rapacious desire, esp. for wealth or possessions (dictionary).

Greed is a terrible thing. What good parent would teach their child to be greedy?

We are in big trouble, as a society, if we start thinking being greedy is good and teaching our kids being greedy is good.

<<>NO you cannot get away with that.

Greed and desire for profit are two entirely different things.

Greed is NOT broadly defined as desire for profit. Not at all.

That is such sloppy thinking.<

I thought that the two were, if not the same, then congeneric. can you tell me the key differences?
