Kol, OT -- estate taxes -- yes it was nice to see some sanity return in that area, plus note that the $5M unified credit is now "transferable" among spouses -- if first one dies with unused credit that gets added to the surviving spouse's credit. That single rule change has blown away a whole cottage industry of estate planning attorneys who, under the previous rules, devised all kinds of convoluted, costly trusts, in an effort to achieve the same result as the new rules.
