Bob, HP looks miserable to compete SUNW on the UNIX market, how mang
quarters have they missed for more than a year? My memory tell me
they only made one quarter for a long time, SUNW is taking market shares from them, go to check HP quarterly financial reports and find
out by yourself.

Cheers
Gordon Shen

<<She said to avoid SUNW becuase of increasing competition from HP>>
Yeah, right. Don't buy SUNW at these bargain prices, because we want to buy now and sell them to you later. I work in an IT client/server group. HP is not popular compared to SUNW

Oh, yeah? JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley, Smith Barney, PainWebber etc. are
respected by the street too. They all came out downgraded SUN when it
was around 22-26 range last year. And upgraded the stock around $50 range. You trust them too? Fear of competition from HP? Huh? Last time
when I heard from SUN's top brass, they were only concerned about the
competition from IBM, and that's because IBM has a good/reputable customer support, and SUN is trying to catch it up! I don't think this woman really knows what she's talking about!
About a month ago, an anal-yst on CNBC touting ASND, when it was around $42, and claimed that he was aggressively buying it at that price. Look at where ASND is right now! I think somebody got to check
his record and see whether he really bought ASND at that time.
The bottom line? Do your own homework on any stock you wanna buy,
and stay away from the so called "analyst" recommendation.

Of course, JMHO!
