The letters were returned unopened. The letters were for Hunt and Topfer, and I did subsequently send them to their respective companies unopened with explanatory letters. Individual shareholders really have no mechanism for being heard, and contacting investor relations or corporate communications is really useless. I am hoping that, if the directors receive my correspondence, these people will at least read the contents.

For your information, here are year-end stock prices for DSC:
12/31/92 $11.00
12/31/93 $30.75
12/31/94 $35.875
12/31/95 $36.875
12/31/96 $17.875
As of today, it looks as though the stock price is migrating back to the 12/31/96 price.

In the 1995 Proxy Statement, the compensation committee made the following statement about DSC's current chairman:

"The most significant components of Mr.Donald's compensation continue to be based on the results he achieves in increasing the earnings of the Company and enhancing stockholder value." The compensation committee also made statements about Mr. Donald's "exceptional abilities, experience and vision."

The above statements were a justification for the 2,000,000 share options package for 1995. What a joke!

Hi Steve, At least you pocketed some cash on those $32.50 Calls you sold! That should buy dinner and a show out someplace!

I, too, was in the "support" mode today as I added an additional 6% to my holdings in DIGI. I bought at $19.875. At least we finished the day in the black on those shares!

Does DIGI own gold mining property someplace?? Maybe that would explain the rapid decline!! {;-)

Best regards,
Tom in WI

AIM had me buy a bit more on Wednesday, too, at 20. It was nice to see that at least those shares have been "at a profit" at the close Wed and today. My average price on all my shares is not profitable right now, however. I'm hoping/expecting them to be greatly profitable in the future, however. :-)
