for every $20.00 worth of gold flakes you eat i will take a prime steak - rib eye, T-bone, or fillet - and a pound of grapes.

while your pics are pretty, in the end the guy eating the steaks will fair better than the guy eating the gold.

in the aggregate people with gold savings will on average outlast people without, and get to buy the goodies off of people without at time of astute choice

this is an opinion and as such has not been proven.

you see, if the people without (meaning without gold) are the ones with the beef it may be that suddenly beef is worth much and gold is worth little ----> refer back to the guy who has consumed the gold flakes and the one who ate the steaks and grapes.

many people in new york and hong kong can CHOOSE to live on a farm at any moment, if they so choose

one might say that the inverse is true, ie, that anyone living on a farm could choose to live in Hong Kong or, for that matter, become a successful trader. imo, this is easier said than done.
