Palin had published a "target map" on her website using images of gun sights to identify 20 House Democrats, including Giffords, for backing the new health care law.

Maybe the ignorant, careless morons like Palin and Bachman will stop and reconsider all their juvenile bang-bang rhetoric, now that they see some real-world bloody consequences for a woman very much like themselves in politics, except for a few different positions.

I am going to stop pretending to give any benefit of the doubt to these shit-kicking scumbags who pervert our system so badly. Sarah, Michele, Glen, Sean, Rush, they are all ignorant scum that we should wipe off our shoes and move on, if we have any shred of civilization left.

Shame.

That's false, Palin did NOT publish a target map using images of gun sights.

Palin had published a "target map" on her website using images of gun sights to identify 20 House Democrats, including Giffords, for backing the new health care law.

The exchange, via Weigel:

MANSOUR: I just want to clarify again, and maybe it wasn't done on the record enough by us when this came out, the graphic, is just, it's basically -- we never, ever, ever intended it to be gunsights. It was simply crosshairs like you see on maps.

BRUCE: Well, it's a surveyor's symbol. It's a surveyor's symbol.

MANSOUR: It's a surveyor's symbol. I just want to say this, Tammy, if I can. This graphic was done, not even done in house -- we had a political graphics professional who did this for us.
