david:

DRAM woes are old news for this company, but market insists on discounting the same news two and three times. TXN is on sale.

Great post, but why did txn get killed today (down 12 pts!) along with the market. Nasdaq down 35 points in last two hours of trading!!!

From the posts you but up, it sounds like TXN is excepting a great 98 and beyond.

CBS: "Falling Texas Instruments seen as a 'buy'"
cbs.marketwatch.com
"ALLAS (CBS.MW) -- Shares of Texas Instruments Inc.
extended their month-long decline Thursday amid the
impact of Asian economic conditions, falling memory
prices and on general concerns the stock may be overvalued.

Analysts pointed out, however, that investors may be so
skittish about TI and other tech issues that they'll forget
about its strong fundamentals and attractive price."
