History may repeat itself...after every "crash", the market jumped to regain over 50% of the crash loss, but eventually fell back to below the lows during the crash...and then the recovery began.
Many analysts have argued that this cannot happen this time, because of the strong economy, low inflation, etc...and yet we're starting to see exactly the historical pattern.
The reasons for this pattern is probably very different from all the reasons this happened in the past.
It may just be a case of a self-fulfilling prophecy...
