Really? A guy on Gun Talk said they were great.

I like Rugers.

the word reliable is rarely used in the same sentence as Kimber

I fire my Kimber Crimson ultra carry II 45 at least twice a month, and keep it spotless clean and well lubricated. It works flawlessly everytime.

It fits perfect and also performs flawlessly in fast draw mode in a variety of concealed holsters I have. No corrosion issues because the frame is aluminum.

My current favorite pocket gun is a Micro Desert Eagle 380 from Magnum Research in Minneapolis.
A high quality piece it fits perfect, and draws fast from any front pocket, with the Blackhawk size 1 nylon pocket holster.

First round reliability is vital in emergencies, and that is why one carries concealed. I highly recommend pocket holsters for semi-automatic pistols to keep pocket debris from jamming something. Of course the other big benefit from a pocket holster is it hides the outline of the gun.

If for some reason I didn't want to use a holster, I'd carry a S&W hammerless 357 revolver in a jacket pocket.

S&W has a new pocket 380 auto, but haven't had the notion to buy one yet.

You mentioned the Ruger ACP. I recommend against that. I had one. When my wife fired it stung. The intial runs of ACPs were recalled due to a major design flaw. They are cheaper though.

Just my opinion and there are thousands of pistols and thousands of opinions.
