All I can say is those who pinned him down showed way more restraint than I would have. You should see what happens when someone yells "Thief" in even "moderate" places in Africa like Kenya. Its not pretty. Nutcase got lucky I guess. Sounds like the police had some dealings with him before. How did he get a gun? I think someones going to look bad over this. How did he get his gun? The same way the drug cartels in Mexico get theirs. The USA is the gun capital of the world. Its easier to get a gun here than a driver's license. The FBI approved him. Meanwhile he was living with his parents who either are white supremacists like him or just couldn't deal with his problems.....probably another lame American couple who shouldn't have had children. Once back in the late '80s I had just flown into Boston, and was a little north of the city when a report came on the radio about a shooting at a mall nearby. IIRC, a young woman killed in the parking lot, by her ex who walked up and shot her point blank. A guy witnessed it, followed the suspect a little ways in his car, and shot him dead. Turns out he himself had only recently bought a gun after a friend or family member had been murdered some little time before. That's one of the current winger responses.....had everyone in the crowd had guns he wouldn't have shot as many people. And the wingers call the rest of us crazy.
