Both sides are going to bat this guy around- everyone wants him on the other team.

I'm tempted to say that Ayn is such a horrible author anyone who reads her (of any political persuasion) should fear being driven mad by her wooden characters and execrable plots- but we'd obviously have a lot more nuts running around out there if that were the case.

The simple question is, who are the far left voices today advocating the same positions as Loughner? Which organizations, which media outlets, which think tanks?

I don't know of hardly any who believe the US government and its currency are illegitimate. But the real hard left - as opposed to the gross exaggerations on message boards 24/7 - barely exists any longer outside a few radical coffee shops here and there.

If anyone can fill us in on these militantly anti-government leftist groups, please do, I would like to complete the picture being painted.

Isn't this sort of like trying to figure out if Mark Chapman was right-wing or left-wing? Not every mentally ill person is the reincarnation of John Wilkes Booth.
