I don't think the rhetoric of either side or the map imagery of either side has diddly squat to do with the real life voting (and other) decisions sane people make. We're stuck in the snow here. Watching the coverage off and on all day yesterday, the only network worth watching was hands down FOX. It was very balanced and even better, it was interesting. It was the only time in memory that FOX was so clearly head and shoulders above the other two networks. And it was very balanced. The other two were circular pity parties.....an attempt to milk the meme that right wing rhetoric caused the tragedy. To my knowledge, neither network discussed the possible mental condition of the shooter except in brief, cursory mentions. Do you think it was inflamed political rhetoric that drove the shooter?
