I read your post and went on my way and then I decided to come back and reply. Dell fell because of the market problems and most of the day it was up. You only came here to see about your short only and not to be a part of people working together. You have shown your true colors . Hank has style but you <gg>. Dont worry...I've shown my tackey behind on this thread before so Its the ole pot calling the kettle black.
Oh Yea!!! Who will we buy our computers from a year from now incase I need one.

I just left a gig for Mobil Corp. They have a program called SME or standard managed environment, which is putting a DELL on every desktop. That's 50,000 computers.

Another CIO I know, at Ayden, you know, the tube makers? told me he is looking very seriously at DELL as a standard platform. They have a reputation in IS for minimum support. I used one at Mobil for a year and observed no imcompatibilities. You express a lot of passion, my friend, concerning what is after all only a tool.
