Especially since the shooter had been shadowing her since 2007 (curiously she had subscribed to his YouTube site..) and he is clearly mentally ill and from watching his (rather incoherent) videos on YouTube I strongly question whether Palin had any influence on this guy. As for Arizona and provocative imagery regarding politicians look at the last minute of this video: youtube.com Should we run around scrubbing every violent image..? However I do think it is reasonable for politicians to considering turning the heated rhetoric.
