Gerard:

You state:

Lets come back to this subject in about 2 months from now - toward the end of December and going into mid January. And then lets see if bears have any place - or face - left in the market after being crushed by the bulls.

The bull market has not yet begun! We are just getting ready for the real bull market to kick in. What is going on right now is just a quick sharp profit taking. If, and this is especially if the South East Asia is in big trouble, watch for the explosive growth of the tech stocks that are being crushed today (e.g. SUNW, ASND, COMS, LSI, etc.). The only way for South East Asia to gain economic prosperity is through automation and more productivity. This can only be achived through technology. And guess who will be supplying the technology? US companies whose stocks are being thrown out the door today in the late 1997!
