What I love is how they pretend they have nothing to do with the excessive violence and gun culture in this country. I can't stop laughing over that one. What I LOVE is how the wingnuts declare that their philosophy and politics descend from the founders! It's the biggest LIE of ALL! The founders were RADICAL LIBERALS! The ELITE of their day. That's right. Conservatives have been a pain in the butt since day one. Where were the conservatives in Revolutionary America? Working for the British! Conservatives wanted to stay as a Crown Colony!

Even the founders were divided up into the Hamiltonians (conservative) and the Jeffersonians (liberal). Washington himself leaned toward Hamilton, though he vehemently warned against partisanship.
