I'm a Blue Dog and former Obama voter. The vicious media response to this has been eye-opening.

The response to this incident has split the Democratic Party between reasonable moderates, such as yourself, and the cynics and nutballs on the far left.

And I think the latter are doing nothing more than further marginalizing themselves politically, with their disingenuous and transparent spinning of the shooter's motivation in an attempt to score points for their agenda.

As more of the facts come out, even more of the public will be expressing their disgust at such tactics, IMO..
