A 1 minute battery swap would be better

That would of course require a "standard" battery size and even today the Volt battery weighs 375lbs. Could you imagine the amount of storage space needed for every car on the road at energy stations.

These electrics have a series of batteries in them. Worth about four grand. Swapping them is an all-day job.

Hi Mq....OT for a minute, but with the terrible floods in Australia, have you heard anything of what kind of aid the US is sending to Australia? Or have we?

It's hard to realize that the flooding is in areas as large as Germany and France combined, or in the case of the US, as large as Utah and Arizona combined.....
