LOL... that sounds like my late wife. She always wanted to go with me to play golf. She would never hit from the first tee because "everyone was watching". Then she would drop along side my first ball and play from there. At a water hole, she'd just skip that one and play the next one. But... she kept score all along. We played at the Broadmoor as often as we could. After finishing a round, we were in the club house when the group behind us came in and recognized Betty. One of the guys, jokingly asked her how she did and she said "One of my best rounds"... with a straight face. She was fun!
