I'm thinking more of people who perpetrate mass killings. People who go in and shoot up a business, or school- can't think of a single woman who has done that. There probably is one- but it's mostly men. I wonder if it's just part of our shoot 'em up culture. There have been a few heroines who shoot things up (but of course these figures are mostly idols of men, rather than women)- so I wonder if the culture reflects this part of men, or does it somehow help create the lone gunman fantasy? I don't know- but I do wonder about it. Boys all over America, right this minute, are busy being snipers, and killers, racking up body counts on their Wiis and Ps3's and Gamecubes and other systems. I can't imagine that doesn't have an impact. And of course these games appear to appeal to boys much more than girls.
