I believe he was simply stupid and deliberately destructive because the guy had never run a lemonade stand.

I can't believe he was simply stupid. More likely he was blissfully naive, since he was elected by a large and somewhat immature majority.

I don't, for the least little bit, believe he was deliberately destructive. I believe the destruction to be a byproduct of his gross inexperience.

Whether he has learned from past experiences or not, I certainly hope that his, is a one term presidency.

That will restore my faith in voter's BS detector.

I can't disagree with this summation at all. You nailed it.

My vote was based on the fact I couldn't get my head around a McCain-Palin ticket, and I thought O was smarter than he probably is. His inexperience was a big worry, but I always vote and it was not going to be for the other ticket. Even at the time, I knew my vote was a lot of wishful thinking...wishing for a more Blue Dog Dem approach to things with their emphasis on sound budgeting.
