Apple will replace any bad ones anyway,

Indeed. But, when it is built in, I have to ship in the whole mothership MacBook Pro or any other Apple portable product, to get the feaking battery replaced.

In the olden days of yore, as in the model I have now, when the battery dies, I get Apple to send me a new one. Meanwhile, I am still computing, hardwired and all.

Not in the new Apple portable universe.

Your battery dead? Cough up the whole thang!

Hope you have a backup!

And you wouldn't need to haul around a spare one if you had a real Mac. :-)

There is no "real Mac" the size of my lovely, ever so able and full loaded Dell Mini 9, running up to date OS X.

No joke. Blows minds. (g)
